Salted Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 10-12 mins
Yields: 12


  • 1/4 Cup - Butter (melted)
  • 1/4 + 1/8 Cup - Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 + 1/8 Cup - Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Teaspoon - Vanilla Extract (or paste)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon - Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Teaspoon - Kosher Salt
  • 1 Cup - AP Flour
  • 1/8 Cup - Bread Flour
  • 1/2 Cup - Dark Chocolate Chunks
  • Sea Salt Flake for topping


  1. Preheat oven to 300° degrees. Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet and set aside
  2. In a medium bowl combine AP Flour, Bread Flour, Salt, Baking Soda. Set aside
  3. In a second bowl mix the butter, sugars, egg, vanilla with a hand mixer, until well incorporated
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Add the chocolate chunks and mix with spoon
  5. Scoop cookie dough into 12 cookie rounds and sprinkle sea salt on top
  6. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes. Cool for a few minutes on the sheet pan before transferring to a wire cooling rack
