A Year In Review: 7 Make & Taste Favorites
The new year is right around the corner and I always enjoy looking back at all of the delicious recipes my kitchen helper and I made together. From the most creative, mom’s night favorite, the recipe we made the most throughout the year, best video, plus my 2017 baking bucket lit.
This past year we started making our own recipe videos and my goal was to make one video per month. Considering I had to manage baking with my kitchen helper plus the video and photography it seemed like a daunting task. We made 11 total videos and I couldn’t be happier with what we accomplished, the production of each video improved every time and I have even more ideas for 2018. (check out my top 9 videos here) In 2017, we challenged our baking skills with more advanced recipes including homemade croissants. I was not sure if my kitchen helper would appreciate the three day process but he was part of each dough lamination phase and proud of the end result so it was a success! More equipment has been added to the our kitchen supplies including cookie cutters, quarter sheet pans, a tart pan, and a mini muffin tin to name a few. Check out our favorites below and start baking with your kitchen helper in the new year!
